Gen Squeeze Benefits

Our Benefits program saves you time and money and helps you live more sustainably

(In 2016 we'll be rolling out more and more benefits for Gen Squeeze allies. Join Gen Squeeze to get updates by email, and use the links on this page to access benefits)

CUBC_logo_web.jpgThis ally benefit is all about where you bank. Basically, if you open an account with a B.C. credit union you get $200 if:

  • You set up payroll/pension direct deposit,
  • OR transfer your business chequing account.

AND the credit union organization will also give Gen Squeeze $50, which we'll use to lobby on behalf of younger Canadians. Yay!

Get a Gen Squeeze group cell phone rate (Telus). Unlimited talk to North America and 3 GB of data starting at $55/month for BYOD, a savings of about 30% over comparable plans.

If you're already on a contract, you'll need to do the math to see if it's worth switching.

There's an annual $50 fee to take advantage of this one, with PBC donating $25 to Gen Squeeze. Yay! There're a couple steps involved in signing up, but you could potentially save a bundle.

A big thank you to Vancity Credit Union, who have been a long-time supporter of ours. They're even lending us a full-time staff person (the amazing Erin Robinson), whose job is to build this Benefits program for all of us!
