Advise governments
Gen Squeeze is routinely invited to offer concrete, evidence-based policy advice to federal and provincial officials on generational fairness issues, like housing, child care, health and wellbeing, taxation, public debt, etc. As a non-partisan organization, we engage across the ideological spectrum — generational fairness is an issue that all political parties should prioritize.
We have a proven track record as a small (but mighty) powerhouse in the world of politics. We’ve won on housing, child care, parental leave, carbon pricing, and age accounting in budgets. But we’re not stopping there! Informed by our solutions frameworks, we will continue to ask governments to do more to make Canada work for all generations — and we’ll continue to pursue every opportunity to share our expertise with governments. If you join our network, we'll share our asks with you along the way, and sometimes ask you to share them too.
