Knowledge to Action Lead

Umair is a campaigner with more than 10 years of experience leading anti-poverty, labour, and environmental initiatives. He has worked in a range of community and non-profit settings. Umair has a deep-rooted interest in advocating for evidence-based public policy as well as for translating academic research and expert knowledge into accessible formats for popular dissemination and mobilization. When not working he enjoys reading, hiking, and being a dad.
