The United Way of the Lower Mainland (UWLM) works with local agencies, governments, and donors to advance its vision of a healthy, caring, inclusive community.
UWLM believes that everyone in the Lower Mainland deserves a chance at a good life, including the hundreds of thousands of younger residents — and the young children we may have — who are increasingly being squeezed. We share a commitment to research, collaboration, and advocacy to help people understand the issues, and influence public attitudes, systems, and policies.
UWLM has funded Gen Squeeze since our inception. It is currently contributing $50,000, concluding in the summer of 2018, to support our #CodeRed affordability campaign and core operations.
We’re proud to have the support of UWLM! If you live in the Lower Mainland, we encourage you to consider supporting them. You can learn more, make a gift or get involved here.
