We support CFS' Nov 2nd Day of Action

Some summary text like: We're supporting the CFS' Nov 2nd national day of action. While Generation Squeeze does not believe that free tuition (a focus of the CFS) is the only way to make post-secondary education more accessible and affordable for Canadians, we do believe that reducing the sticker price of postsecondary would significantly ease the squeeze of hundreds of thousands of Canadians.

Other policy ideas to bring down the cost of tuition and the burden of student debt supported by Gen Squeeze partners organizations can be found at:  http://www.gensqueeze.ca/student

Generation Squeeze believes that when faced with complex problems, like the multi-faceted squeeze facing Canadians in their 20s, 30s and 40s, there are often many possible solutions, each with some grounding in the evidence. We certainly have our own ideas about the best solutions with the most supportive evidence. However, we're more interested in progression than perfection. That's why, in addition to championing our own policies, we'll regularly endorse initiatives that share a general alignment with ours. To avoid confusion, these endorsements will always be qualified by a blog post explaining precisely what we're endorsing and why, and pointing out any areas of minor disagreement. Furthermore, we reserve the right to revoke our endorsement e.g. if we become aware of new evidence calling into question the merit of the initiative, or for any other reason. In these cases, we'll edit the blog post to indicate the change.
