As British Columbians head to the polls Generation Squeeze Founder and UBC Policy professor Dr. Paul Kershaw is asking voters to think about intergenerational reciprocity.

At a recent UBC Okanagan debate, Paul made the case for bringing the same love that we show around family tables to our political choices. Inspired by Gen Squeeze supporter Tom Rankin, he reminds us that younger people will live much longer with consequences of today’s decisions. Their wellbeing — today and tomorrow — deserves a place in our voting choices.

Watch this short clip and consider how your vote can help build a BC that supports healthy retirements for our aging loved ones while restoring hope and opportunity for younger generations.
