With Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservatives well ahead in the polls, the party may be heading for another supermajority on February 27. Ford’s vigorous ‘team Canada’ defense has certainly captured a moment.

No matter where you stand on this possible outcome, there’s good reason to take a close look at some key issues facing Ontarians – and how the major parties say they’ll respond.

We all want an Ontario where young and old alike can thrive. Our non-partisan, evidence-based voters’ guide helps you assess how parties are advancing this goal, so you can vote informed.

It’s distressing for democracy that most parties haven’t yet provided costed platforms – to date, only the Greens make themselves accountable to voters in this way. In the absence of cost estimates, we rely on the 2024 Ontario budget to make meaning of promises from the PCs, Liberals, NDP and Greens.
