Molly is an urban planner with a focus on community-led planning and housing justice. After working as a planning and economic development consultant in New York, and previously in policy and real estate development in Vancouver, she decided to return to school to try to better understand how intersecting systems work together to make uneven experiences for the people who live in urban areas. Molly recently completed a Master of City Planning degree at UC Berkeley, writing her thesis on the financialization of rental housing in Vancouver. Now armed with even more questions than answers, she's excited to work with Gen Squeeze to explore alternative futures for people living throughout Canada.
