We have a small window to urge the government to fix a broken system.

Affordability, housing, medical care, and the climate crisis have something in common: they’re disproportionately harming the wellbeing of young and future Canadians. No parent or grandparent want that to be their legacy. That’s why we’re asking the federal government to create the first ever Generational Fairness Task Force to fix the broken systems that have caused the problem.

Do you support a federal Generational Fairness Task Force?

Instead of Canadians getting further behind, we can make our country a great place to be, no matter your age!

The good news? The most recent BC Budget already named Generational Fairness as a priority and included financial commitments to help fix the problem. We need to ensure this momentum spreads across the whole country - add your name now to make it happen!

5 Reasons We Need A Generational Fairness Task Force

Affordability, housing, medical care, and the climate crisis have something in common: they’re disproportionately harming the wellbeing of young and future Canadians.

We’re calling on Ottawa to create a Task Force to restore Canada’s fading promise for younger and future generations. Politicians from all parties have spoken about the challenges faced by younger Canadians and the risk that they will be worse off than the generations before.

By pulling together a Task Force of experts, we can turn these shared concerns into concrete action that will:

  1. Put a generational fairness lens on all government decisions
  2. Expose and fix the harmful legacy of past policy decisions
  3. Bring long-term thinking back to politics
  4. Move past the blame game and political footballs and focus on solutions
  5. Deliver credible analysis & data to inform better policies
